With the chilly days of winter upon us the birds are staying much closer to the coops. However, they don’t let a little snow keep them shut in all winter. Our ducks, geese, and chickens enjoy a winter wonderland stroll during the day while taking a snow bath to clean their feathers. The waterfowl may even brave an icy dip in the stream on a day warm enough for the water to run. Overall, everyone is happy and content, fluffing their feathers in the cool air, as they wait for the days of summer to come once again upon the land. Although they don’t like to lay eggs in the first part of winter, it won’t be long before the geese and ducks begin laying again and preparing for the early spring breeding season. Feel free to contact us anytime throughout the year for availability of various poultry for sale. Chicken eggs $3/dozen and Duck eggs $5/dozen
